Riddle Me This

Coming off Heath Ledger surpassing Jack Nicholson's performance as The Joker in the 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight, two new actors have been named to play the roles of The Riddler and Catwoman in the new Batman movie, granted this might be a rumor but I heard over my vacation that Johnny Depp and Cher could be cast to play the roles preceeded by Jim Carrey and Michelle Pfeiffer.

I'm just amazed at how director Christopher Nolan has gone above and beyond to come up with Batman movies that have revamped a series that was basically flatlining since the original Batman movie.

If this is indeed true, it would be amazing to see two outstanding actors like Depp and Christian Bale square off on the big screen. My only question would be Cher as Catwoman, I mean you could easily cast one of the big actresses in the role right now like a Jessica Biel or a Scarlett Johanssen, in regards to Cher I hope it's a rumor.
