  • Nice post Mike. I agree with most of what you say. However, the requirement for citizenship to attend school was not true back in the late 70's or early 80's in Indonesia. I'm not sure what the requirement would have been when the Messiah went to school there. I have personal experience with that situation. Money talks.

  • It's only been "my" party since forty-five days before the primary, as Pennsylvania's cut-off is thirty days before the primary, and mostly then so I could vote against Clinton and for a guy who right now appears to be unfortunately very cautious in pursuing new directions in policy.

I have every intention of re-registering in 2010 if I wish to vote in a Republican Senate or gubernatorial primary race. Ah, the freedom of being willing to jump through the asinine hoops of a so-called "closed" primary to vote for the candidates I think are the best.

And in 2000, I voted for McCain and Nader. I don't have to defend the tactics of Gore or Bush in the recount, or your example of questioning the inclusion of military absentee ballots - as I remember it they backed down from that position when Lieberman couldn't defend it - for the somewhat obvious reason of being indefensible - on Meet the Press, anyways.

I can think of any number of reasons for Obama not to sign a consent form - not the least of which is still the weight of evidence he was born in Hawaii already available. How much time should he spend helping people, whose goal is to prevent him from implementing any policies and to pursue ANY unverified rumor - even multiple, unrelated rumors while ignoring contrary evidence - to achieve such a goal?

Has Obama verified the authenticity of any Kenyan records for himself yet? For all your conspiracy rantings isn't it JUST as likely at this juncture someone may have planted records that clear him, and wants his signature to the release of records eventually exposed to be bogus?

Both sides are just as prone to crookedness. George W. Bush's little brother was on the Chinese dictators' payroll. They funnelled $2 million to him through a position at Grace Semiconductor, despite little Neal having no experience in the field. They also supplied him with prostitutes. Where was the conservative outrage been over this state of affairs? You and a handful of others may criticize Bush but most of his critics are johnies-come-lately upset they've lost power.

Also, why did the media cover this for one day and then promptly forget about it? If they were nearly as liberal as you claim they are they'd have spent the last four years beating Bush over the head with it.

  • And if we're holding Obama responsible for the Blank Panthers in Philadelphia do we get to hold McCain and Palin responsible for the Pittsburgh staffer who cut up her own face and filed a false police report alleging an Obama supporter did it?

  • The "Messiah" will fix all that is wrong with the USA as well as other places. Why worry? In a little over a month all will be well. The seas will part, the burning bush will come to life and all farmers will be able to tap a stick and produce massive amounts of water. It is ALL good. We shall all be saved! God help us, really.
