Man caught impersonating police

I, along with the rest of the community are so distressed to hear that Mark Merrell PA, our physician assistant at the Glenns Ferry clinic, is leaving. Mark has been a valuable asset to our community for the past 13 years. He is so involved with the kids and school, the theater as well as the city council and has made himself a well-known advocate of all events in our community...

BLM: Human factors linked to local fires

Human factors were linked to the two range fires that broke out in parts of Elmore County last week, according to officials with the Bureau of Land Management as they continued their investigation into how those fires actually started. BLM crews responded to a fire located south of Mountain Home Air Force Base around 4 p.m. July 15 with the second fire reported near Hammett about 2 1/2 hours later... -
