People gather at county fair & rodeo

Persistent sunshine and temperatures rising into the upper 90s last week didn’t stand in the way as thousands of people gathered in Glenns Ferry during this year’s Elmore County Fair and Rodeo.

Since its debut in 1961, the fairground event represents “the heart of local entertainment,” that offers an array of various competitions and events tailored for children, teens as well as adults, officials said.
