Golda "Goldie" K. Kean

Golda "Goldie" K. Kean, 93 of Mountain Home, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at a local care center. A viewing was held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 1:00PM and Funeral Services followed at 2:00PM at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix at a later date.

Goldie was born on January 23, 1916, in Jamestown, New York. She was the daughter of John and Elanora Keller. She lived in Arizona most of her life. She was a homemaker and she loved square dancing and belonged to a group called the Camper Squares. Her second love was Las Vegas, including, food, entertainment and yes, KENO.

At the end of her life she moved to Mountain Home to be near her son Dan. She will be loved and missed by all her kids. See ya mom, thanks for the memories.

Goldie is survived by her son Daniel and his wife Kathy Kean of Mtn Home, her son James and his wife Mary Kean, her son Bill and his wife Anne Kean, her daughter Kay and her husband Bob Federoff all of Las Vegas, Nevada, her daughter Carolyn and her husband Ken Laubach of Albany, Oregon, 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Kean.
