Road Closure in Downtown Mountain Home Due to Possible Gas Leak

Mountain Home, Idaho — Law enforcement and the Mountain Home Fire Department have temporarily closed N Main Street and E 5th Street near the Stardust Plaza in downtown Mountain Home due to a reported natural gas odor in the area.

Emergency responders are currently investigating the source of the smell to ensure the safety of nearby businesses, residents, and motorists. As a precaution, traffic is being diverted away from the immediate area.
