Election recount shows no changes

Members from the Idaho Secretary of State’s office gathered at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge on Monday to manually recount the ballots cast in the local area precincts during the Nov. 4 election.

The outcome of the Nov. 4 elections saw no changes with regards to the people selected to hold elected positions in Mountain Home, Glenns Ferry and surrounding communities as state officials met at the local Elks Lodge to recount the ballots cast during that election.
According to results released by state and county officials, Brendan McCarthy and Decker Sanders earned a higher number of votes as part of the recount conducted by members of the Idaho Secretary of State’s office with Susan Case extending her lead against Chelsea Inmon to earn her role as the new mayor of Glenns Ferry.
