The local American Legion Auxiliary serves as part of a national organization of veteran spouses who support the American Legion, its members and their families with a focus on veteran support, youth programs and patriotic advocacy.

Members from the local American Legion Auxiliary Unit 26 pose for a photo after they finished work to create gift bags to be presented to youth patients undergoing medical care at the St. Luke’s Elmore Medical Center.

Members from the auxiliary organization then delivered these gift bags to the local hospital recently.
