Members from the Mountain Home Air Force Base Honor Guard march in formation as they prepared to take part in a ceremony to dedicate a new monument at Mountain View Cemetery on Friday.

The monument honors the memory of those from Mountain Home and other local communities who gave their lives during the Vietnam War as well as more recent combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
