Glenns Ferry Rescue

On March 26, 2024, at approximately 17:28 hrs., a white pickup, driving westbound on Interstate 84, near MP 109, was in a collision with a semi-truck with a single trailer, causing a serious accident that spread across all three lanes of the interstate.

The driver of the pickup was critically injured in this crash, which resulted in their having a severed artery in their arm and open chest wounds.

Two bystanders jumped into action, placing a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. Glenns Ferry Rescue arrived on scene in minutes, applied life-saving medical care, and contained the scene so that no additional accidents occurred due to the debris on the roadway.
