Grover Floyd Boldt "Chub" 1936-2022

Chub, age 85, of Glennsferry passed away in Fruitland on August 18th, 2022. No formal services will be held.

Chub was a great fisherman, hunter, and forager, and would always share his catch in the form of fish frys, meat for the freezer, or jars of pickled asparagus. He knew that good food shared with family and friends is key to a good life, and that keeping busy keeps you young. He served in the Navy and traveled the world, then moved to Washington state with his family after retirement in 1972. In 1989 he began to RV and extensively traveled all of the contiguous United States, making Glenns Ferry, ID his home in 1996. He continued to travel and enjoy his hobbies for decades longer, sharing his knowledge and joy for life with his grand and great-grand children.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a cherished friend and relative to countless others. He will be missed dearly by the people he loved.
