Peggy Lou Engelhardt of Mountain Home, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 3, 2021.

She was born October 26, 1932 to proud parents, Mollie & Doc Middleton of Nampa, Idaho.

She married Frances “Shorty” Engelhardt and together they raised four sons:

Timothy, Michael, Patrick and Kelly.

Peggy was best known for her prolific artistic skills. Remember her living room sized gingerbread village that all the local school children had the privilege to visit on field trips?

How many of you attended ceramic painting workshops in her studio? Peggy had 4000+

ceramics prior to giving them away to friends and neighbors when she recently moved to Phoenix, AZ with her youngest son, Kelly and his wife, Sarah, and their 2 sons, Isaac and Alexander.

She will also be missed by her other grandchildren Nick Engelhardt & Lindsey Morrison.

Peggy’s dearest and closest friends, Marvalene and Mary spent many hours oil painting beautiful landscapes and laughing together.

She was a long-time member of St. James Episcopal Church, where she had many dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Kudos to special friend Susan for her friendship and compassion.

Peggy retired after 30 years from Elmore Memorial Medical Center as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff.

Please join us in celebrating her life at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on Friday, Jan. 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM or view service on-line at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/2773163979
