“Rocky” Arellano’s Accused pleads Guilty

The man accused of fatally injuring Roque “Rocky” Arellano during a fight in Ann Morrison in October 2019 pleaded guilty last week. Andrew Ray Garcia, 29, admitted to voluntary manslaughter and a persistent violator enhancement in the death of 43-year-old Rocky Arellano. This is the long-awaited news for local friends following the case.

Andrew Ray Garcia, 27, had been arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder, aggravated assault, and grand theft in connection to a body found in Ann Morrison Park Thursday, October 17, 2019.
