Election Results - November 2, 2021

In what appeared to be a clean and respectful voting season, Tuesday night November 2nd was the culmination of each candidate’s efforts to seek the voters mark on the ballots.

In the race for City Council the votes continued to move back and forth with Brennan and Garvey at the top of all 8 precincts for the 2 open seats. Brennan finished with the lead in 5 of the 8 precincts with Garvey taking the other 3. Vote counts in some cases were only a difference of 1 vote.

In the final unofficial results it was a very close race with 35.2% Brennan and 34.4% Garvey. All of the candidates have been campaigning in some cases for many months now and we thank them all for their effort, putting themselves out there and the commitments they have demonstrated to our community.
