Kathleen E. Quinn

Kathleen E. Quinn, age 99, of Mountain Home, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at a local care center. A Memorial service will be held at Rost Funeral Home on Friday, October 22 at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home.

Kathleen was born in the small village of Wardington, UK on January 12, 1922 to Edward and Ethel (Capel) Butler. In 2005, Kathleen moved to Idaho to live with family.

She loved to garden, take long walks and enjoyed spending time with family. Kathleen was a gentle lady who loved birds and flowers.

Kathleen will be so very missed by all her family and friends.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Mary and son in law Colonel Pope of Mountain Home, grandchildren John and wife Karen Trower of Georgia, Lisa and husband Rodney Walters of Washington, Curtis and wife Alicia Pope of Virginia, Sadie Pope and Damon Pope both of Boise, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Edward, and her siblings Alfred and Frederick Capel, George Butler, Selina Bates and Gladys Echlin all of UK.

The family would like to thank the staff of Treasure Valley Hospice and Country Living of Mountain Home for the care Kathleen received.
