Adam Richard Crockett

Adam Richard Crockett passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident on highway 78, between Nampa and Grand View Idaho. Services will be held at Rimrock High School in Grand View, Idaho on August 28th at 11am. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Adam held many beloved titles such as son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Adam taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love. Adam was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on May 8, 1977. He was the oldest of two children to Dick and Marcy Crockett. He spent his whole life in the Grand View area. Adam was a proud graduate from Rimrock High School. At which time he excelled at rodeo, roping and bronc riding.

Adam met the love of his life, Tommie, while they were both working at Simplot Land and Livestock. They were married on September 16, 2011. Through Tommie, Adam found the family of his dreams within his three stepchildren, Christian, Naya, and Tatum, whom he loved with all his heart.

Adam spent his life farming and ranching. He was a literal “jack of all trades”, exceptional at farming, ranching and mechanical work. He spent many years farming and ranching around the valley, designing cattle pens and pasture irrigation systems, bottle feeding calves and breaking horses. Eventually, he and Tommie started their own trucking company, 5C Trucking, and there working with his daughters and friends he found his true passion.

Adam was an avid hunter, spending countless days scouting elk and deer with his dad and his sister, and later with his daughters Naya and Tatum. Some of his proudest moments were watching Tatum get her prize-winning bucks year after year. Adam also enjoyed helping his dad, Dick, guide friends and family through the hills to fill their hunting tags, though he always hid the biggest bucks for Tatum.

Adam was a true cowboy at heart, and embodied all the traits that come with that; he was exceptionally hard working, truly strong inside and out, a fiercely loyal friend to everyone, the life of the party, and the first one to jump in and lend a helping hand in any situation. Those who were close to him were truly blessed to be able to get through the tough exterior and enjoy the tender, kind hearted, sincere person he will always be. His joyous smile, contagious laugh, and famous big hugs will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

Adam is survived by his wife, Tommie Crockett, their children Christian, Naya and Tatum. His parents Dick and Marcy Crockett. His sister Sarah Crockett and her children Maddi and Tilton. As well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more that loved him very much.
