David (Dave) Robinson

David Robinson (Dave) 79, of Mountain Home, Idaho passed away on July 23, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends throughout his courageous fight.

Dave was born January 3, 1942, in Boise, to John and Odette Robinson. Dave had an older sister, Doris Clorene Gomez who preceded him in death. He grew up in Mountain Home and graduated in 1960 from Mountain Home Senior High School. After graduation he attended Boise Jr. College, then relocated to attend trade school in Denver, Colorado. Upon completion, he moved to California where he opened a Plastic - Fabrication Machine Shop in 1972. Dave remained working for 35 years, until he sold his business in 2007.

Dave met Bess, the love of his life in 1996. Dave and Bess married on May 16,1998. After retirement Dave and Bess traveled before relocating to Mountain Home.

Dave enjoyed the following activities: roping, bowling, golfing, fishing, hunting, sporting events, reading, country music and holiday projects. Dave enjoyed camping with family and friends in Pine and Featherville. He was a life time member of E Clampus Vitus (ECV) as well as being an Elk Member of BPOE #2276.

Dave is survived by his wife Bess Robinson, her children, Tracee Taylor and Marcus Barbosa (Julie) his grandchildren, Clayton, Jared, Brayden Mode, Noah, and Levi Barbosa.

Family will be having a Celebration of Life on at 10:30AM, on Saturday, August 07, 2021, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Following the service there will be a potluck gathering at the family home.
