Talkin Tgers Speech & Debate team

During weekend of Feb 27-28, the Mountain Home Talkin’ Tigers Speech & Debate team won the District IV debate tournament. They qualified 11 students to the State tournament, which will take place on March 12th-13th.

The following students qualified to State-

In Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Oam Patel, Korbin Peterson, and Gareth Brantley qualified. Kayden Reid is an alternate.

In Public Forum Debate, the team of Khylan Stubblefield & Zachary Warren, and the team of Ashton Bennett & Lillian Nhok qualified. Khylan and Zach were district champions!

In Congressional Debate, Andrea Morales, Liliana Martinez, Hailie Goldthorpe, and Angelina Sanchez qualified. Andrea was the district champion!
