She graduated in the class of 1943 from Mountain Home High School and loved sharing that she played basketball.

In 1944, she married Fred Latimore in Seattle, Washington. They lived their 67 years together in Mountain Home and California, dedicated to each other and their family and friends. Fred and Jane built and managed the Town Center Motel on the Latimore family property before moving to California for opportunity there. They lived 20 years in the greater San Francisco area before returning in retirement to Mtn. Home. Traveling from Idaho to Arizona, they lived the “snowbird” life until settling into the Mountain Home area enjoying their family and friends. Proceeding Jane in death was her husband, Fred, and her two sisters, Evelyn and Helen and her brother, Robert. Her brother, Jim, resides in Oregon. They had two children: Karol (Richard) Urquidi of Mountain Home and Fred (Tina) of Gilroy, California; three grandsons: Richard (Rhonda) Urquidi, Fred and Mike Latimore; and three great-grandchildren: Katie (Alexander) Ellington, Riley, and Joseph Urquidi. Jane was a big part of all her grandchildren’s lives and loved seeing them grow up. She loved watching them in sports, joining them for community dinners and celebrating all they did. An active community member, Jane loved to golf, play bridge and was a member of the PEO Chapter W and the Daughters of the Nile.

Masses at Our Lady of Good Counsel will be offered for her over the weekend as we remember and celebrate her life of love. A celebration of life will be held at a later time as family and friends can come together and gather. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
