Local Man assaulted Christmas Day

On 12/25/20 at approximately 2145, Elmore County Sheriffs Office deputies, Mountain Home police Department and the Elmore County Ambulance Service were dispatched to an address of NW Date St for an injured male.

Upon investigation it was learned the homeowner was a victim of a battery and burglary. The victim is identified as 60-year-old Robert L. Dudley. Mr. Dudley sustained significant injuries and was transported to St. Luke’s in Mountain Home and eventually air transported to a hospital in Boise, Idaho. Due to his injuries, Mr. Dudley was not able to be interviewed and was unable to give any helpful information prior to being transported.
