American Legion Post 26 reminds what Veterans Day stands for

Veterans Day is an honored American holiday where we take time to honor those men and women who served or continue to serve our country in our armed forces. There are a few misunderstandings about it — like who we honor and how and when it originated.

Veterans Day is distinctly different from Memorial Day.
