Viola Marie Butzer

Viola Marie Butzer, age 100, of Mountain Home, passed away at home on Sunday, June 21, 2020. A viewing will be on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Rost Funeral Home starting at 4 P.M. followed by a Rosary at 6 P.M. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial at Mountain View Cemetery will follow. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Viola was born on January 1, 1920 in Westphalia, Missouri to John and Gertrude Wimmer.

Viola was an avid bowler with a 175 average. She enjoyed crocheting hats and prayer shawls and gave them to whoever needed them.

Viola is survived by 2 daughters Barbara Raber and Wynette Deska and her son Omar Butzer II. Along with 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren.

Viola is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Omar, daughter Phyllis Becker and son Don Butzer.

Memorials can be made in Violas name to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for Seminarians.
