Mountain Home High School Agriculture Greenhouse Sale

Friday, May 1, 2020

The senior agriculture class has worked very hard this spring to get the new greenhouse up and running. They planted and cared for a variety of hanging flower baskets and vegetables. Due to COVID-19, the first Mountain Home High School Ag. Greenhouse sale had to be changed a bit. Buyers cannot go into the greenhouse to pick out plants. Online orders will be compiled through a Google form that will be posted on the Mountain Home High School Facebook page April 29th. On the Google form you will pick your desired plants and a pickup time. Orders will be filled by pick up time slot, more selection will be available at first day of sale. Starting on May 6th,” you will drive up to the greenhouse at your selected pick up time and wait in your car for your order to be brought to you. At the time of pickup you will be able to pay for your order using cash or check (made out to MHHS). The funds raised by this sale will go back into the agriculture program funds. By purchasing these plants you will be supporting all of the agriculture classes and the youth organization FFA. Thank you for understanding, next year we can show off the greenhouse and allow members of the community to pick out exact plants.

Items in greenhouse: Hanging flower baskets, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Bell Peppers, Yellow Squash, Juliet Tomato, Super Sweet 100 Tomato, Beef Steak Tomato, Variety of house plants, Variety of petunias.

Directions: Enter through Tiger Ally, take a left into the annex parking lot to greenhouse, exit through back gate. MHHS- 300 S 11th E

  • They sold out in 5 hours!! Congrats greenhouse crew. They are beautiful and I can’t wait til next year. Seeing them all in full bloom today in the greenhouse and all gone tomorrow makes me sad and so happy for you. Sad to see the mass color gone for this session. What a great job ~ Brenda
