Public Notice - Coronavirus Update

The Elmore County Commissioners, in conjunction with Elmore County Emergency Management, have been working closely with all emergency responders, Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, Mountain Home Fire Dept. and Elmore County EMS, to ensure that not only the First Responder needs are met but they as First Responders are able to meet the needs of the Citizens of Elmore County. We have had continuing discussions on new needs as they arise.

We receive updated information from Idaho Office of Emergency Management, Central District Health and Western Idaho Health Coalition.

We are working with the Elmore County Sheriff’s office on what procedures they are putting in place to ensure safety for the incarcerated .

The Elmore County Commissioners, Emergency Management, Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Home Police Department, Mountain Home Fire Department and Elmore County EMS are fully aware how people react in various situations and are fully trained and are prepared to perform duties that are in the best interest of the Citizens of Elmore County.

We are also in contact with the School Districts and Senior Centers in the County.

Citizens of Elmore County who are concerned or frightened about the symptoms of the virus are encouraged to either go on the website coronavirus.Idaho.gov or call Central District Health’s hotline at 208-321-2222. For those who speak Spanish the hotline is 208-737-5965.
