WECRD moving forward on curbs and sidewalks on South 18th property

The Western Elmore County Recreation District (WECRD) held their regular board meeting on Wednesday evening, November 20, at 6 p.m. President Dan Gillies, Vice-President Lee Pierce, and Director Doug Meyer were in attendance.

The discussion began with public comment from Mike Corbus about a verbal agreement that was in place when the property was originally acquired by the district on S. 18th East Street. Mike Said that the board that had bought the land had agreed to give him a memorial brick on the site and a one year membership to the facility.

    Well something is better than nothing for the WECRD. Only took what, almost 20 years and we might have sidewalk with curb/gutter? And more money is needed? WTH !!!!!!!!!!
