Bruneau and Beyond Speaker Program

The Bruneau and Beyond speaker program at the Bruneau Valley Library for November will be held on Wednesday the 20th. The topic this month is “A Brief History of Southwest Idaho Railroads” with Eriks Garsvo, the Director of the Owyhee County Museum as presenter.

Eriks has lived in Treasure Valley for 18 years. He is a Kuna High School Graduate and graduated from BSU with a degree in History. Eriks is the full time Director of the Owyhee County Museum but also works part time at the Boise Train Depot doing tours. On the side, he works on vintage cars with his current projects being a 1941 Plymouth and a 1937 school bus.

The program will be held at the Library at 32073 Ruth Street beginning at 1:00 p.m. with light refreshments available. The Library would like attendees to RSVP by Monday November 18th by phoning the Library at 208-845-2131 in order to ensure adequate space.

No program is planned for December, but the series will resume in January, pending weather.
