Gertrude “Trudy” Irene Raub, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in her Mountain Home residence on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the age of 83. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Trudy, known as “Nan” by her entire family was born one of eight children to Augustus and Helena (Thompson) McCullough on January 14, 1931 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.

Nan joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18 and met the love of her life one year later while serving in Geneva, New York at Sampson AFB. Robert Vern Raub knew “it was love at first sight!”, however, it took her a few months of convincing. At the age of 19, Trudy and Robert married and continued serving in the Air Force while growing their family and traveling overseas.

Great memories are alive today of Nan as she became a homemaker and devoted herself to her family.

She is survived by her husband Robert Raub of Mountain home, two sons Michael Raub of Mountain Home and Robert Raub Jr. of Colorado, two daughters Lori Michaud and Susan Raub both of Mountain Home, her sister Kathy Miller, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren that continue Nan’s legacy. She is preceded in death by both parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Arrangements were under the care of Rost Funeral Homes, McMurtrey Chapel.
