Council decides on RV ordinance

On Monday July 22nd, the City Council met in their chambers for their regularly scheduled meeting.

All members of the Council were present except Councilman Jimmy Schipani who was on vacation.

Mayor Rich Sykes opened the floor to recognize persons in the audience. Ted Thompson, Owner/Manager of Thompson Aviation Services, approached the Council with his frustrations with an Arizona company who isn’t paying a fee and it is money that the airport is losing out on. Mr. Thompson said, “An Arizona based airplane is operating off the Mountain Home ramp and flying their money back to Arizona.” Mr. Thompson closed with his concerns that the fee loss will start to affect the Airport.
