Local youth raise funds for ‘Buddy Benches’

School staff, donors, family and friends came out for the ribbon cutting celebrating the installation of one of the buddy benches at Carl Miller Park

While coming up with an idea for their MHHS HOSA Community Service Projects, Cole Lancaster and Emma Binion decided they wanted to help bring awareness to suicide in the community. That one project quickly turned into a year long awareness program that has started an awareness throughout the community and not just at the high school.
