County P&Z makes decision on Dodge CUP

On Feb. 20 at the American Legion Hall the County Planning and Zoning Commission met to deliberate on the Conditional Use Permit request from Jonathan Dodge. The Conditional Use Permit is for a Sand and Gravel Pit and the property is zoned as Agriculture.

There was a public hearing regarding this matter on January 16 where multiple residents surrounding the purposed property gave statements on why they felt the CUP should not be granted. There where also citizens who spoke on behalf of Jonathan Dodge and made statements on why they supported it.
