The MHHS 2019 Hall of Fame Class included wrestlers from the early years of the sport in Mountain Home, the coach who brought wrestling to the district, a softball player, a boys basketball player and the girls 2000-01 basketball team and their coaches.

On the evening of Feb. 2, the Elks Lodge filled with alumni young and old of Mountain Home High School for a ceremony celebrating the induction of the Hall of Fame class of 2019. There were both laughter and tears as the audience and inductees remembered past athletic accomplishments.

Selection criteria to be considered for induction into the Hall of Fame includes: a staff member who taught or coached for at least five years and who is no longer with the school, a student who graduated at least five years prior, a staff member who has brought honor or distinction to the district and a student athlete's contributions and letters in all sports. Nominees must be "worthy" and "outstanding" individuals for consideration, not just the best athlete and the committee considers their whole body of work including current standings and worthiness in society. All of this year's inductees fill the criteria in many ways.
