WECRD working to clarify operating budget for facility

The Western Elmore County Recreation District held its monthly meeting on Jan. 23 where they discussed aspects of the indoor pool facility project including a contract with Wright Brothers Construction, the business plan and a recent visit to the Caldwell YMCA.

WECRD attorney Larry Ashcraft recommended the board hold a meeting with representatives of LCA Architects, Wright Brothers and the board. Ashcraft felt that it would be for the best if there was one point person for day-to-day communications with the other two entities instead of all three board members having to be contacted.

Director Doug Meyer suggested Director Lee Pierce be the main contact and the other board members agreed.
