Idaho GOP reaction to Gov. Brad Little’s State of the State address

The people of Idaho can be confident that our new governor, Brad Little, understands and respects Idaho values. He is an experienced leader, and he will make sure that even as our state goes through changing times our state government will do things the Idaho way and not fall into the traps some of our nearby states – such as California – have fallen into.

Gov. Little is committed to fiscal responsibility, limited government, lower taxes, and competently-delivered government services. His decision to sign two executive orders to limit excessive state red tape and regulation prove how serious he is about conservative governing principles. We’ve all seen the disastrous consequences of out-of-control government in liberal Democrat-run states like California and Washington. In fact, Idaho is one of the fastest-growing states in the nation because so many people want to escape those liberal states and live here, where we value individual rights and believe government exists to serve the people and not vice versa.
