Construction on Safe House is Underway

By year’s end Elmore County will have a safe house for Domestic Violent victims. This is very exciting news for members of the Elmore County Domestic Violence Council and Elmore County residents. Due to the lack of resources in Elmore County for housing victims in the past, they were often relocated to surrounding counties that had the housing available. This meant victims were being moved away from families, friends and jobs, which can be difficult during this stressful time.
