Tax money is well spent on library

Wednesday, January 2, 2019

Dear Mountain Home News,

I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff of our wonderful library. Their courtesy and helpful attitude is much appreciated.

We moved here two years ago and our exceptional library was on of the things that drew us to Mountain Home. The STEM kits have been a fun way to educate our grandchildren in electronics and math. The many activities such as Dangerous Day for Boys and the Santa party have been a great way to socialize.

The "Let's Talk About It" book club on Pulitzer Prize winning novels (with guest professors) was of high caliber and a fun way to meet people.

Our tax money is being well spent on our library and staff and the electronic books ( and now hot spots) are a convenient bargain for citizens.

We are proud to have joined the non-profit Friends of the Library and encourage others to join us. The Book Nook has an incredible variety of books for all ages and the book sales make possible frequent beneficial activities.

With Thanks,

Ted and Doreen Solum
