Mountain Home welcomes new Chief of Police

The City of Mountain Home recently welcomed a new Chief of Police. Chief Scott Conner comes to Mountain Home by way of Belen, New Mexico where he served as Chief of Police for 2 and a half years.

Chief Conner has been in law enforcement since 1997. He started serving the community of Roswell, NM, after graduating from Eastern New Mexico University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico. Chief Conner worked at the Roswell Police Department until 2010. While there he worked in a department with 100 other officers that served and protected approximately 50,000 residents.
