Mountain Home FFA Competes in District Career Development Events

On December 5th Mountain Home FFA competed in Agriculture Mechanics, Job interview, and Greenhand knowledge Career Development events at Meridian High School.

Cole Lancaster placed second in Job Interview. Cole had to write a resume, cover letter, and interview for a job in the agricultural field.

The Agricultural Mechanics CDE team competed in Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Oxygen Acetylene Welding, Electricity, Small Gas Engines, PVC pipe fitting, and Tool Identification. The Agriculture Mechanics team consisted of: Caelin Coggins (small engines), Kamryn Orr (tool ID), Elizabeth Bearden (PVC pipe), Westen Smith (electricity), Tanner Holmquist (Oxy Ace/ GTAW), and Takota Watson (SMAW/GMAW).

The Greenhand Knowledge competition is where Freshman take a test on their FFA knowledge. Our Greenhand team consisted of: Parker Reynolds, Kendall Brenenstahl, Brenna Elliott, and Max Bearden.
