Publisher's Pen: Giving Thanks

I would like to share my blessings and thanks this season by saying to my family, staff, friends, neighbors and community that I am thankful for all that I have and I cannot express enough my forever faithful love and gratitude to all that share my world. As a member of this community and the publisher of our local paper, it gives me the privilege to share all the great accomplishments of our youth, volunteers, emergency responders, military and every individual that makes our world complete. My business does affect many in the sharing of news whether it be in the accolades of events and due recognition or in the cases of news that is sad and heartfelt by us all. Newspapers can evoke many emotions in us all and we attempt to share that with our readers with truth and awareness to ease the sensitivities and sometimes the emotions that can come along with the sharing of local news that affects us as a community. I am thankful for our subscribers and advertisers that are the reason we are able to provide your local newspaper. I wish you all peace and a very Happy Thanksgiving and a continued blessed holiday season.

Please share with me the hope that our military members not home this season are safe and return home to their loving family and that they know they have the love and thanks of a community that have them in their hearts as well.
