Hearing on downtown revitalization grant

Friday, November 16, 2018

On Nov. 8, the City of Mountain Home held a Public Hearing dealing with a grant the city is currently applying for to go towards the Downtown Revitalization Plan.

For the past several months the community has been in an uproar over the Final Master Plan that was adopted by the City Council in March.

During a meeting one could assume would have a packed house with people wanting to hear the latest on the project there were three people in the room who were not either a city employee or the engineering firm who designed the concept.

Even with the extremely small turnout it turned into a long productive meeting with people both for and against the plan getting the chance to sit down and really listen to the other side of the issue.
