Mountain Home Fundraiser donates to MSTI

Susan Richelieu and friends recently donated $8,000 to the MSTI Patient Assistance program . The program that helps cover expenses such as gas money while patients are undergoing cancer treatments and cannot work is funded entirely by donations. After Richelieu was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in February she, her family, co-workers and friends decided they needed to give back. All of the proceeds from the Fall Fitness Festival on Oct. 6 went towards the $8,000 donation. Richelieu , who is now at a Stage 1 and credits MSTI for much of that success, was also interviewed by Maggie O’Mara for an upcoming Seven’s Heroes segment on the day the check was presented.
