New Business opens in Glenns Ferry

Gerry’s Shoe Service is now open in Glenns Ferry. The business offers “everything old time cobblers can do,” including zipper work, strap work, patches for items like motorcycle vests or Letterman’s jackets and pretty much anything that needs a snap or rivet. Gerry also sales all sorts of shoe care products including cleaners and polishes. Clients will be measured on site and Gerry guarantees the fit of his boots. For now boots will be ordered upon purchase, but that could change as the business grows in the future. The town of Glenns Ferry was chosen because of it’s location along I-84 between growing communities like Twin Falls, Mountain Home and Boise. The store is located in the old seed building at 30 W. Idaho Avenue and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
