Ronda Joyce (Huddleston) Fisher

On the morning of October 11, 2018, Ronda Joyce (Huddleston) Fisher, beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, passed away peacefully at a Boise care facility where she was recovering after a complicated surgery. A memorial service celebrating Ronda’s life was held at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Ronda was born to Wilfred and Patsy (Forbes) Huddleston Sr. at Reese ABF, Texas on November 8, 1955. She lived most of her life in Mountain Home, Idaho where her father was stationed with the USAF.

Ronda was a single mother who worked hard to support her only child Neva. She had a big heart and compassion to help others. In her teens, Ronda became a volunteer advocate for mentally and physically challenged children and adults. This compassion followed her throughout her adult life and various service jobs. At the time of Ronda’s passing, she was employed as a community service worker with Consumer Direct Services, a job she truly loved.

On October 23, 1992, Ronda married the love of her life, Phillip Fisher and her life was changed forever.

Ronda enjoyed playing cards, road trips with her sister Vonda, classic movies and had a great love for Marvin the Martian and Hippos.

Ronda is survived by her mother Patsy, daughter Neva, sister Vonda and her brother Wilfred Jr.

Ronda is preceded in death by her father Wilfred Sr. and her husband Phil.

Memorials can be made in Ronda’s name to the Special Olympics of Idaho located at 199 E 52 Street, Garden City, Idaho 83714.

The family would like to give a special thanks to St. Luke’s and the staff at the Good Samaritan Society of Boise for all the loving care they gave Ronda.
