Volunteers Clean up Elmore County

Members of Mountain Home Air Force Base help to clean up Elmore County.

On Sept. 29, around 70 volunteers including two 4-H clubs, FFA members, groups from MHAFB and past and present community members participated in Elmore County’s first County Clean Up event. The groups spread out around the county and picked up 3,780 pounds of roadside trash. Volunteers received a t-shirt and were invited to a barbeque hosted by the county at the courthouse after the clean up was finished.
