School board hears the good going on in District 193

During the September meeting of the Mountain Home School District Board meeting administrative staff from local schools got up to share good news coming from their buildings.

Nikki Cruser, principal at West Elementary, was first to speak about school librarian Bonnie Phillips. Phillips has applied for and earned multiple grants for the library. One of which helped her keep the library open every other Friday during the summer. On the opposite Friday's she went out in the community and did STEM activities with the children. Phillips also went out on her own and found students who lived out of town to provide them with free paperback books.
