Rodeo receives grant

Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo received a grant in the amount of $2,000 that they will put towards completing the livestock holding pens at Optimist Park.

"The Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo Association is honored to receive the Northwest Farm Credit Services Rural Community Grant this year. The Rural Grant Award will allow us to pay for the welding to install guard rail and top rail to finish the livestock holding pens at Optimist Park Arena. Having a facility that is safe and secure for local youth groups to utilize for events and equestrian activities helps with our mission of educating the public to the benefits of our Western heritage. We are fortunate to have Northwest FCS help with this project in Daniel's hometown."
