County meetings focus on the upcoming budget year

During the last two June meetings of the Elmore County Commissioners a good portion of the time was spent discussing the upcoming fiscal year and the proposed budgets of the county departments as well as updates on different projects that are occurring around the county.

On June 15 Courtney Lewis, Executive Director of Economic Development for the City of Mountain Home, came before the commissioners to discuss Foreign Trade Zone #280, which she had previously brought to their attention earlier in the year when she had asked the county to pay for attorney fees for Elmore County to apply to be a satellite member of the zone.
