Elmore Extension Celebrates Pollinator Awareness Week at Farmer’s Market

The University of Idaho Elmore Extension team fed and educated the community on the importance of pollinators at the Farmers Market on June 23. It is estimated one-third of all foods and beverages are delivered by pollinators. In the U.S., pollination produces nearly $20 billion worth of products annually. National Pollinator Week was designated June 18-24, 2018 by the Pollinator Partnership. It was created to celebrate pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them.
