County starts program to clean up after illegal dumping

The Elmore County Commissioners, and people in the community who care about our public lands, have been frustrated with the amount of dumping of waste that occurs in the county.

The county is still looking at ways to cut down on the amount of dumping that goes on through things like stiffer fines, but until people stop using the land as their own personal landfills there is trash that needs to be cleaned up on a regular basis and the county has started a new program to get the job done.For the full story, pick up a copy of the Mountain Home News or click on this link to subscribe to the newspaper's online edition.
