Mark Cameron Fried

With great sadness the family of Mark Cameron Fried, 67, of Mountain Home announce his passing on June 8, 2018. He is survived by his wife Tammy and son William, sister Margie McLaughlin, niece Catherine Petri, father in-law William Jacobs, brother in-law Randall Jacobs, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Catherine Fried, by his mother in-law Carolyn Jacobs and sister in-law Carol Ann Jacobs, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Mark was born April 9, 1951 in Spokane, Washington. Moved to Texas, before the age of 3, and resided until 2000 before moving to Idaho. He was married September 7, 1988 in Waco, Texas to Tammy Kay Jacobs. Their son William was born in 1994.

Mark graduated Richfield High School in Waco, Texas. Mark worked many years for Austin State Hospital and Brown School in Mental Health. As a lab technician, he met his wife at Central Texas Red Cross Blood Bank in Waco. He drove a commercial and hazardous waste vehicle, before developing heart problems and becoming a stay at home dad. A trained cook and baker, he also worked closely with the head chef at Baylor University in Waco.

Cremation is under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
