Members of the Mountain Home Police Department jump into the city pool on a chilly spring morning.

It was a cold drizzly day on the morning of May 12, but that didn't stop the community from coming out to support the Mountain Home High Hopes Special Olympics team.

During the annual event, members of the Mountain Home Police Department and Mayor Rich Sykes joined with community members in "Jumping, diving and pledging" to make a splash in the city pool to raise funds for the team. The team also used the event as an opportunity to sell fundraiser items including team merchandise, raffle tickets, baked goods and a concession items. The team raised $1,667during the event and would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the community.
